Wu Wei

It has been a strange path, the path of medicine. It has seduced me from the start and while I have attempted to turn and walk another way…the path has chosen me and continues to appear under my feet. So, in honor of all that is created destiny...

From Allopathic to herbal, nutrition to Naturopathy, Shamanic to Eastern tradition, midwifery to meditation, medicine and healing weave its way and offer its voice to all who may heed its call. True health is free of class distinction, there is no hierarchy in pure medicine, unfortunately, that is a human condition. We may soon understand that we do not need to compete for what we all equally deserve.

I have studied medicine for over 10 years. I have researched and read and each time I ventured looking for answers and each time- walked away with more questions. Form is only a part of a grand picture too massive for one perspective. Beyond tradition and time line, culture and class, race and gender, the language of medicine holds a similar purpose; to heal the sick.

While all forms and traditions have wisdom and offer useful tools it is important to educate ourselves about our bodies. We cannot rely on the medical industry to have our highest needs in mind. We don't go to the doctor to learn about our health... that would be like going to church to find spirit…it is with in you already.
